The first Martin Deerline John Deere Dealership opened in Edmonton, in 1965, by Jim Martin under the name Martin Farm Equipment. It was originally located in a two - stall service station garage off Agryl Road. In 1975 Denis Peyre Opened Peyre Farm Equipment in High Prairie. Wayne Peyre opened Deerline Sales in 1993, located in Westlock and Barrhead. The Peyre brothers merged operations under the Deerline Sales name in 2005. In 2009 Martin Equipment and Deerline Sales saw an opportunity to better serve their local communities by merging together and changing their name to Martin Deerline. Martin Deerline & Martin Motor Sports are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. To honor this milestone the company has many exciting initiatives planned as it looks forward to the next 50 years. Watch for 50th-themed promotions which will build excitement as the year unfolds.
