Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union, originally called Frick District Employees Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1962. The credit union served members employed by the Frick District Mining Division of U.S. Steel Corporation, which had coal mining operations in Fayette, Greene and Washington Counties. William G. Harries was the first Manager/Treasurer of the credit union at its office located in Uniontown. Today Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union is a community charter that serves over 8,700 members with assets in excess of $68 million. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in Washington, Fayette and Greene counties. Currently led by CEO Phil Facchine, Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union continues to have a main office in Uniontown and branch locations in Waynesburg, Washington and Charleroi.
