Wyoming Home is located in the former Western Ranchman Outfitters (WRO) building in the heart of historic Cheyenne, Wyoming. Our physical address is 210 West Lincolnway. With a theme of western lodge and the Rocky Mountains, our inventory will provide you with everything necessary to create the special look we call "Wyoming Home". We are literally a western department store.

Wyoming Home was built from scratch by Jack and Sue Miller. They intended to have a nice little "mom and pop" Western style decorating shop to occupy their time. They started out with an understanding between them that they wouldn't carry anything they wouldn't be proud to sell. Just good quality products that reflect a pioneer heritage, a love of the West and the rewards of lives well lived.

From Modest Beginnings
We started out by renting a building across the street from our present location. We moved in with a computer, a desk and a telephone on January 17th, 1998. We opened for business April 1, 1998 and had our grand opening May 1st. By the end of June we'd expanded into the building next door. In August of '98 it was apparent that we had a winner so we purchased a six building package across the street. We started out occupying four of the six and eventually expanded into the whole package.

Wyoming Home will continue to develop our product lines and provide the best possible product at reasonable prices. We have been described as a Jackson Hole-type store with Cheyenne prices.

Our Products
Everything we carry has either a Western or a Lodge flavor. From rustic lodgepole pine beds to intricately carved or inlayed fine furniture. Items made of antler, leather, rawhide, tanned hide, every variety of native wood, horseshoe, wagon wheels, old lanterns, horse hair and native stone. You name it, we've got something made of it.

We started out offering primarily Wyoming made products, but expanded our horizons to giving preference to locally made products which include items from adjoining states. We find things we like all over the country. We attend trade shows and end up purchasing unique items from all over the world. The store now carries over 10,000 items from over a thousand different sources.

Whatever you may call it, rustic, Southwestern, Western, Ranch, bunkhouse, cabin, woodsy, high plains, new West, lodge look, cowboy chic, Rocky Mountain, pioneer, anything you can think of, we call it "Wyoming Home."
