Born in Saskatchewan, Don Findlay was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1974. Since then he has appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has appeared before administrative boards including Arbitration Boards and the Saskatchewan Labour Board.

The firm name, Dahlem Findlay stems from Don's having practiced with Henning Dahlem Q.C. from 1991 until Henning's retirement in 2006. At which time Don took over Henning's practice.

Currently a member of the CBA Environmental Law, Family Law, and Real Property and Wills Sections.

Don has a history of community activity including President/Past President of the Regina Soccer Association, Canadian Progress Club Regina Centre and Queen City Soccer Board.
