KRIS L. BARNUM, ATTORNEY AT LAW

Kris was born in Concord, California, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area.  She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in 1984, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Puget Sound, School of Law in 1987.  Immediately following law school, Ms. Barnum pursued a career as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). After a decade of Federal service, Kris re-entered private practice with Tueller & Associates, P.C. in Telluride, Colorado, a firm specializing in Real Estate, Corporate and Investment Law. During this time, Kris also owned and operated other small business ventures in Telluride.  Kris then began her specialization in Estate Planning with firms in Juneau, Alaska.  Unable to choose between Juneau and Southwest Colorado, Kris formed the Barnum Law Firm to provide legal services to clients in both locales. Kris is a member of the American Bar Association, Alaska Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association and the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
