Nelda Coats

Nelda serves the Jacksonville, New Bern & Oriental areas.

Nelda has more than 25 years experience in financial services and is licensed in property and casualty, life and health insurance. Having run her own small business, Nelda specializes in customer service and meeting her clients’ needs and is known for her excellent communication and follow-up. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Georgia.

Nelda enjoys living in the sailing community of Oriental where she captains and races her own boat, a Tartan 34 and serves on the organization’s boards for the sailing non-profits: Oriental Dinghy Club, and Neuse Sailing Association. She is a member of Oriental United Methodist Church and enjoys acting in local community theater. Nelda is also a member of the Pamlico County Chamber of Commerce, the Jacksonville Board of Realtors and the Neuse River Region Board of Realtors.
