Neil S. Henning was born in Staten Island, NY, and moved to Piscataway, NJ, when he was two. There he played little league baseball and took accordion lessons. While attending Piscataway High School, he played the saxophone in the marching band and the jazz ensemble. After graduating from high school, Neil attended New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. While attending NJIT, Neil became a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
Neil is a trustee and past master of the Nutley Masonic Lodge. He is the president of the Nutley Craftsmans Club and is a member of the U.S.A. Small Business Advisory Committee. He has also been inducted into Marquis Who's Who in New Jersey and Marquis Who's Who in America. In 1987 Neil married Robyn Henning, nee Cooper, of Berkeley Heights, NJ. They have lived in Nutley, NJ, since 1992, where they are raising their three daughters. In his spare time Neil enjoys HO Scale model trains, stamp collecting, and golf, and he has recently taken up scuba diving. |
