It’s an approach Noreen attributes to her Irish roots. “In the face of great adversity, my ancestors journeyed beyond the boundaries of their homeland to find a better life,” she says. “That struggle was not lost on me.” Indeed, Noreen’s life has been defined by her fierce drive to achieve more both personally and professionally.

One of 10 children who lost their mother to cancer at a young age, Noreen learned early on that if she wanted something, it was up to her to work hard to get it. And while the family lived
in dire poverty throughout much of her youth,
the day-to-day challenges only brought them closer together, creating a bond that flourishes
to this day.

A Personal Mission

Indeed, those early life experiences laid the foundation for Noreen’s many achievements. Her success as a local business owner and six-years of service as an elected Muncipal Councillor are perfect examples. Noreen spent much of her term championing a cause she felt extremely passionate about—creating a 911 emergency service for the Kennebecasis Valley. Noreen gave 110 percent and never held back in the face of obstacles. The pride she felt when the program finally took effect truly made the hours of hard work worthwhile.
