In May 2016, my wife (Melissa) and I (Littlejoe) started working with Dan Krause with Krause House Inspection, LLC. He was in the house inspection business 9 years prior to taking on an apprentice. I worked with Dan, inspecting houses in the Thumb Area which encompassed Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac counties, including Saginaw County for about a year. In June 2017, I officially and completely took over his house inspection business becoming certified through American Home Institute Training (AHIT), which is a national accredited home inspection certification program. My wife and I do the inspection together and I oversee the entire scope of the inspection. Inspections take about 1.5 to 2 hours or so.
