About Us

My name is Brett Hyson and I am the founder and operator of First-Rate Movers. I worked in the self-storage industry as a property manager for a few years and while in that role, I often referred tenants to moving companies and heard of their experiences. Some were good; some were bad. It was an education.

Moving can be a very stressful time in people's lives. I wanted to minimize the stress and give clients a very personable moving experience.

The entrepreneurial spirit within me decided to take a leap of faith and start First-Rate Movers. And the rest is history!
