  Short Pump Insurance was founded in 2009 by Dave Daniels, a recently retired Fire Captain. In his 32 years as a fire officer and paramedic, he has seen the true value of proper insurance protection when people needed it most.

His background includes a degree in Safety Management from VCU, and he served as his department’s Safety Officer for part of his career. He has been involved in community fundraising for MDA, Hockey Fights Cancer and the Central Virginia Burn camp.

His agency will reflect the same core values and customer service philosophy his department provided the community.
