Farmers Saving Bank was founded in 1894 in Beaman, Iowa, and was first known as “The Beaman Bank.” The bank was organized under a state charter as Farmers Savings Bank in 1908 and the Marshalltown locations were opened in 2000. We are owned by shareholders whose roots are right here in this area. No one person or family has controlling interest of the bank. Farmers Savings Bank is truly owned and operated by individuals who live and work in Marshalltown and its surrounding communities. We strive to provide our customers with top-level products and services using the utmost integrity and honesty. Farmers Savings Bank’s knowledgeable and experienced staff is eager to work with you to help you achieve your financial goals by truly getting to know you and your needs. Because Farmers Savings Bank is locally owned and managed, we are committed to serving our communities with “hometown” banking services, where local decision-making and personal service are our top priorities. Your money stays in this community. We are part of this community. Our staff serves this community in many ways, including serving on local boards, attending important events, coaching our children, donating time and money to area causes, shopping locally, and living in your community . . . our community. Safety, Security & Service since 1894. |
