Nestled in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District of Oak Park, The Write Inn is your home away from home. Featuring individually selected antiques and accessories of the 1920's, The Write Inn offers an old world charm mixed with the latest conveniences to assure your comfort and enjoyment.

The Write Inn, a historical landmark, originally opened in 1926 as the Oak Park Manor. The architectural gem was the home to many literary figures, including Nobel Laureate & Pulitzer Prize winner, Ernest Hemingway and poet Vincent Starrett, who found the ambiance of the hotel an excellent atmosphere for writing and relaxing.

Ensconced in an area rich with the ambiance of a European village, guests will find the area captivating as well as convenient. The Metra and CTA train lines to the Loop in downtown Chicago just a few minutes' walk away, and Oak Park is centrally located for driving to anywhere in the western suburbs. There are many excellent restaurants nearby, and The Write Inn is right next to beautiful Scoville Park, featuring tennis courts and children's play areas.
