Meet Mike Auderer: Owner of Olympia Construction. A general contractor, Mike helps his clients understand the remodeling process every step of the way, so that once the demolition begins, they can feel comfortable that their home is in good hands. Mike launched Olympia Construction in 2004, which specializes in new residential building, remodels and additions. Working with an expert staff, including a designer for most remodels, he brings quality and craftsmanship to every project. His reputation for top-notch work is reflected in the multiple accolades that Olympia Construction has won over the years from the Olympia Master Builders organization, such as awards for Remodeler of the Year and Remodeling Excellence. An Olympia native, Mike cares about his community and keeping Olympia beautiful. He believes in remodeling responsibly, ensuring minimal waste from demolition and low impact to the surrounding environment. He built the first floating house in Washington State to be certified by the Olympia Master Builders Built Green program, which encourages construction of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly homes. He not only built it, he lives in it too! Mike is driven to provide the best customer service possible, and he responds immediately to any questions a client or future remodeling client might have. Meet Matthew Swena, CFO: Matthew grew up in the construction industry, working for his father’s hardwood floor company during high school and college. Matthew graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Matthew has a very varied work background – from managing wineries to working at a Credit Administrator for large corporation. He thrives on organization, follow through, and efficiency. Matthew spends his time at Olympia Construction ensuring that all departments run smoothly and that operations are as cost effective as possible. He works to ensure that Olympia Construction has standardized processes for every element of the construction process. Meet Dan Lindstrom, Project Manager: Dan Lindstrom brings to Olympia Construction a rich background in the Construction Industry, centered on working for family businesses. He grew up in the construction industry, working with his grandfather, father and uncles, all of whom owned and operated fencing companies. He has worked in all aspects of the business including installation, sales and managing job sites for his father’s and his own fence companies. Dan understands what it takes to be customer service driven. He is proud of his communication skills and works hard to make sure that the customer is well informed along the way and happy with the final result. When away from the office, Dan’s passions are golfing, baseball, and fishing, but the best times are those spent exploring our great state of Washington with his family. Meet Rick Haws, Lead Carpenter: Rick has worked in carpentry for 15 years. He is skilled in each area of building and remodeling, while his strengths lie in framing. Rick enjoys building custom decks for customer to create the perfect destination for summertime backyard BBQs. When not working Rick enjoys time with his family. Meet Todd Holmes, Lead Carpenter: Todd is no stranger to the construction industry. He has been doing remodeling, home repair, framing and specialty concrete for a combined total of more than 20 years. He brings his eye for detail and his extensive experience to bear on every project he is tasked with. In his spare time Todd also enjoys working on personal building projects and doing woodworking.
