Even though I was born and raised in Venezuela, I have strong family ties to the State of Iowa. I attended Iowa State University while my husband, Joe, attended the University of Iowa. My husband furthered his education to become a Professor of Business Studies at SWICC. We have three small children: Sophia, Isabella, and Franklin, and we are dedicated to raising them with strong Midwest Values.

My passion is to help better my community through volunteer work and growing my insurance agency. I am an active member of Alianza Latino Business Association, and I am a Board Member of HER Hispanic Educational Resources. I have been a featured speaker at the Latino Conference and the Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit.

For the last several years, I have been a sponsor of the Latino Heritage Festival.

Aunque nací en Venezuela, tengo fuertes lazos familiares en el Estado de Iowa. Asistí a Iowa State University mientras que mi esposo, Joe, asistió a La Universidad de Iowa. Mi esposo es Profesor de Negocio en SWICC. Tenemos tres niños: Sophia, Isabella y Franklin y estamos dedicados a criarlos con los valores de Iowa.

Mi pasión es ayudar mejorar mi comunidad a través de mi trabajo voluntario y el crecimiento de mi agencia de seguros. Soy un miembro activo Alianza Asociación de Negocios Latinos y también soy miembro de la junta directiva de HER Hispanic Educational Resources. He participado como oradora en la Conferencia Latina y en la Cumbre de Negocios Inmigrantes. Durante los últimos tres años he patrocinado el Festival de la Herencia Hispana.
