History

Monarch Title Company, Inc. was officially opened for business on November 19, 2001 by Maureen and Mike Dalton.  The Daltons already had extensive experience in title insurance, having opened and operated a land title company in Boone County in 1988 with another partner.  When they sold their interest in that business in 1994, Maureen moved on to a real estate sales position, and then as a closer for another title company while Mike ran a successful construction business.  With the opening of Monarch Title Company they immediately established a new industry leader in mid-Missouri and beyond, opening the first of 3 additional offices in 2002.
