Jonah Bank is proud of its long-standing roots in Wyoming’s oil and gas industry.  We know Wyoming’s mineral extraction industry is the engine that pulls our State’s train. 

As part of our responsibility to our customers and our State we underwrote geologist Robert Coskey (Rose Exploration), a good friend of Jonah Bank, in a presentation of just what the burgeoning Niobrara Play in southeast Wyoming means to participating stakeholders in Laramie, Platte and Goshen counties - and to the State of Wyoming.  On November 18 Bob presented the attached PowerPoint to a packed house of 420 people in Casper.  Bob’s presentation strikes the balance of technical information the geoscientist requires, and easy-to-understand examples the non-technical person needs.

Bob received his B.A. and M.A. in geology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and entered the oil and gas industry in 1978.  He has over 30 years of oil industry experience with Mobil Corporation, Forest Oil and Rose Exploration, Inc.
