I am a recent graduate of the Interior Architecture and Design program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. I feel that I have the knowledge and experience, due to extensive coursework, as

well as the personality traits and passion for residential design to complete any project. Residential design has been an interest of mine long before admission into the program. This is what truly inspired me to choose this major and follow this career path. Completing the online program through the birth of twins and several moves following my husbands career took dedication and strong self motivational skills.

Having spent several semesters on residential design, I am still very driven to pursue new home design. I have done several projects in the arena of ground up design, to include a Traditional Asian home, Green Design based on indigenous dwellings and ADA accessibility. This has opened me to various avenues of new home and green design. I also am very passionate about reducing waste and making use of the spaces we have. Remodels and redesign can often enhance our homes and businesses in ways unmatched by new construction, reducing costs fiscally and environmentally.

I am skilled in both AutoCAD and hand drafted construction documentation as well as AutoCAD Viz 3d, hand drawn perspectives and space planning. I have also done Commercial and Retail design coursework. Redesigning the San Francisco Visitor's Center was great fun, as was the Retail Design contest student submission I did for a new Godiva Chocolatier store. The intricacies of consumer behavior, security and ADA accessibility were fun and fascinating.
