Our Work Our program offers numerous opportunities for our consumers on a daily basis. We offer curriculum, bible studies, a circuit training workout, and many activities out in the community, including but not limited to the circus, Special Olympics, community lunches, volunteer work, etc... We also promote opportunities to get involved in career development. At the center we provide training on applications (and assistance), resumes, building portfolios and practicing interviews. Many of our consumers hold employment in the community and OWL provides job coaches to assist with direction, instruction, and proficiency in cleanliness and quality of performance. We also have a supported living part of the program. This includes going into homes and assisting with daily care, and average daily living skills that the participants require assistance in completing. Our staff is diligent in keeping homes looking nice, and work hard to make sure the client feels comfortable with their own sense of style, and cleanliness in their homes. |
