in 2001 by aspiring business man, handyman and artist Stephen P. Smotrycz. Stephen’s goal was simple; to start a company where he could challenge himself on a regular basis while constantly exceeding his clients expectations of quality. Based in Forked River, New Jersey, Stephen has worked tirelessly at developing and maintaining a reputation for flawless luxury tile installations, while keeping himself personally challenged by always pushing the boundaries of his work. After more than 10 years in business, Stephen is still as passionate as he was when he first started his business and is excited to create custom tile installations for clients from Long Beach Island, NJ to Jersey City, NJ.

SPS Tile is run on these foundations. We often put ourselves in the customer’s shoes. If we were calling a tile installer to give a quote, we would be paying attention to the little things like, “are they listening to what I’m asking them, or are they just talking at me?”. When they arrive at my house, do they let me ask them as many questions as I want to, or does they just try to secure a downpayment for the job? Ultimately, we pride ourselves on the motto “Quality First”.
