Trueblood Real Estate is located in Myrtle Creek, in the southern part of Douglas County, only 16 miles south of Roseburg. Myrtle Creek is centrally located for easy access to Diamond Lake and Crater Lake. Seventy miles to the west lies the beautiful Pacific coastline and approximately 85 miles to the east you will enter the magnificent Cascades mountain range.

The City of Myrtle Creek is known as the gateway to the “100 Valleys of the Umpqua” because of it’s central location for recreational activities along the South Umpqua River. We are also home to the nationally recognized Myrtle Creek 18-hole golf course located in the rolling hills east of town. One of our covered bridges is famous for being the shortest covered bridge in Oregon.

The cities of Canyonville, Riddle, Days Creek, Tiller, Glendale and Azalea are a little further south. Canyonville is home to the Seven Feathers Hotel and Casino Resort, which is only 9 miles south of Myrtle Creek.

Winston and Roseburg are located a little north of Myrtle Creek. Winston boasts the amazing drive-thru live animal park called “Wildlife Safari”. Roseburg is the largest city in Douglas County and is the County seat. Centrally located, Roseburg is the main shopping hub with many major retailers and a Veteran’s Hospital & Medical Facility located in a park-like setting.

Oregon is a very beautiful and relaxing state. The mild seasonal characteristics are well defined with gradual changes noted between our definite four seasons. Spring is beautiful and green as sunshine and temperatures increase. Summers are sunny. The temperatures stay mostly in the comfortable 80′s and low 90′s. Temperatures will creep into the high 90′s occasionally, but highs over 100 are rare. Best of all, it’s never too humid here. Dry weather continues into mid fall, sunny days are the norm. The winters are rainy and snow in the valleys is rare.
