If you are looking for experience and knowledge you have come to the right person. I started my career in 1989 as a loan processor where I learned the ins and outs of structuring mortgage loans. In 1997 I received my FHA Underwriting Certificate and planned on moving into an underwriting position. After the birth of my second child, in 1998, I decided to go in a different direction and transitioned into loan origination when I accepted a position as a Mortgage Loan Officer. The knowledge I gained processing loans for 9 years has helped me significantly in my current position. I take pride in my ability to work with my customers and assist them in finding the mortgage that best suits their needs. During the mortgage process, I educate and communicate with my customers to ensure they understand the details and approximate time frames of each step towards the closing table. Because of this, I have built strong, long term relationships with many of my customers.

I am licensed in both Indiana and Illinois and specialize in Conventional, FHA and VA mortgage loans. I work with first time home buyers as well as seasoned borrowers and investors who purchase or refinance 1 to 4 unit properties.

My dedication to the mortgage industry doesn’t stop at the closing table. I am currently a board member of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association; Northwest chapter as well as a past president. I am involved with the Housing Industry Team which is a group of members of housing related associations that give their time to do charitable work within Lake and Porter counties.
