Mi5 Fitness Training Methods

The Mi 5 training system makes us completely different from any other club you may have visited. We have developed the components that take the guesswork and trial-and-error out of reaching your goals and puts the science back in. We provide a complete training system and a highly qualified fitness coach who will personally walk you through every step of the way on the path toward achieving your personal goals. One size does not fit all! Just as we all require a specific shoe size, we all require a specific program. Everyone has specific goals and a specific body. For customized results you need a customized program.

Group Training Details

The “Mi 5” training concept is set-up in group class with certified instructors using tools including kettlebells, sand bags, ropes, medicine balls, TRX’s and other fun, different equipment. This type of training is a great way to shake things up and give you a full body workout, burn a ton of calories, and get your metabolism going. A kettlebell is basically a weight with a handle on it that can be used for numerous exercises you don’t typically see in a gym. It may seem intimidating at first and I highly recommend that you have an instructor teach you how to work out using them. There is some skill involved, but anybody can learn and we can teach you at Mi5 Fitness. There is absolutely no way to describe this workout without inviting you to try it.

Mi5 Fitness Uses:

  • Appropriate Cardiovascular Activity: Only the correct amount of cardiovascular work at the correct intensity will work for your goal. Doing the wrong type, at the wrong level for the wrong time may not only be useless but can actually work against your efforts.
  • Appropriate Resistance Training: Muscle is the body’s fat burning machinery. Resistance training helps to build and maintain a good fat burning engine.
  • Professional Assistance and Scientific Manipulation of the above: This is where most people go wrong. No program works for everyone and no program will work forever. As your body changes, so too must your program change. Your fitness coach will help to modify your plan as your body changes and adapts so you continue to see optimal results.

Personal Training

Personal Training at Mi 5 Fitness is an excellent option for someone who prefers a 1:1 coaching relationship as their primary form of training. Examples: Trainer Comfort, Injuries, Special Needs, Timeline & Schedule or Specialty Training. Whatever the case, Mi 5’s highly qualified trainers personalize your workout so it caters to your individual needs and goals.

Semi-private training

Mi 5 Fitness specializes in semi-private training for those who like working with a partner or friend or for those people who get more out of their workout by competing or being pushed by a friend. Semi-private training is typically 2-4 people with one trainer. Common group dynamics are good friends, family, husband-wife combo, brides and bridesmaids, siblings, and mother-daughter duos. If you want to meet new gym friends this is also a great option. Semi-private training is more cost-effective than the traditional 1 on 1 training, and is also a popular option.

Semi Private Includes:

  • Unlimited access to our high energy group fitness coaching sessions. Ask for a schedule.
  • A scientifically designed group fitness program (changes every 2 weeks) to boost your metabolism, decrease injuries, and increase your strength and your functional movement in day to day activities!
  • Use of the gym and unlimited coaching (a coach always present to assist you).

Personal Training Includes:

  • Individualized program design written specifically for you.
  • Use of the gym during our Open gym hours and unlimited coaching (a coach always present to assist you with your individual program).
