About Me:My name is Debbie White and I have been a REALTOR® selling properties in Southeast Alaska since 1999. I've lived in Juneau most of my life and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. This is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Allow me to show you why I call Juneau home, and the rest of Southeast Alaska my back yard! This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. In 2002 I achieved Associate Broker status. I'm a Graduate, REALTOR'S Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and also a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). I served four years on the Southeast Alaska Board of REALTORS: 2007 - Treasurer, 2008 - President Elect, 2009 - President, 2010 - Past-President. I'm also involved with several other not-for-profits. I am past President of Southeast Alaska Master Gardeners. I serve on the City and Borough of Juneau Board of Equalization. I'm active in fundraising for our wrestling teams and other worthy causes. I am currently obsessed with suicide prevention. I am an affiliate member of the Southeast Alaska Building Industry Association (Home Builders) and the Juneau Chamber of Commerce. Southeast Alaska is my home and I was raised that giving back blesses the giver. In 2011 I was awarded "REALTOR of the Year" by the Southeast Alaska Board of REALTORS. I was with Coldwell Banker for 3 years, consistently within the "top 10 Listings Sold" category each quarter. I moved to RE/MAX mid year but still managed to get the Executive Club award in 2002 and was in the 100% Club every year I remained at RE/MAX. My new brokerage is "Southeast Alaska Real Estate". When not selling real estate, I enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking and spending time with my husband and our two boys - Samson and Brian. Samson is now in college at Montana State University. Brian is pursuing a culinary career. We love to travel too! Areas of ExpertiseMost of my business is in Juneau, Haines and Gustavus, but I also service many small towns and remote areas. Most communities in Southeast are not accessible by road, so I travel by boat or float plane several days each month. I enjoy working with first time homebuyers so much that I help teach the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation First Time Homebuyer classes on a regular basis. |
