Sev Neumann was born and raised in Pequot Lakes, MN. He attended college at Staples Technical College and earned a Machine Trades Degree. He then moved to Anoka and started working in a Plastic Injection machine shop. In 1999, he met his wife, Heather, in St. Cloud while she was going to school for K-8 teaching.

Sev and Heather purchased their first house in Rice, Minnesota. About that time, the company Sev was working for went out of business so he decided to make a career change and go into the construction industry.

Sev had been working for CityWide Insulation for a year and a half when a friend offered him a job roofing houses in the St. Cloud area. They primarily did new construction and were roofing as many as five houses per week.

In 2005, Sev and Heather started a family and decided they would like to move back to the Brainerd Lakes area to raise their two daughters. They purchased a house in Breezy Point, and to Sev it felt as if he were moving back home.

At this time, Sev started his own business, Neumann Construction, Inc. Installing new roofs on lake homes, cabins and residential homes is their specialty.

In the summer of 2012 John Hayes became part owner of Neumann Construction.  John has a background in construction and is very detail oriented.  He lives in Breezy Point with his family and is a active member on the Volunteer Fire Department.

Over the past years they have had the privilege to install new roofs on many homes in the lakes area...over 2,000! They continue to provide the highest quality workmanship and products as possible.
