Dr. Carl Jung believed that circular  drawings revealed the  inner  workings of the  unconscious mind. inspired by his  work I have drawn my  dream symbols into  mandala  drawings.  The  subconscious supplies detail information that   helps me complete the drawings. I  experience  collaboration   between the  conscious and  subconsciou  mind.

 I use  crayola  crayons  for the first  drawings and then  I  enlarge them into oil or  acrylic  paintings. The  golden  circle  arround the   drawing is a symbol for the  soul, the  sacred, the interior  mind. What  appears in the golden circle  is  honored, respected and loved. This  attitude in  making art provides a link to the  unconscious.
